Seattle, WA (October 10, 2007) – Now even more people can get Experienced – the much anticipated Experience Hendrix Tour has added two dates. The seven city tour has also picked up Gibson Guitars as a sponsor.

The tour’s all-star lineup features Jimi Hendrix’ band mates Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell as well as a slew of guitar heavyweights and other musicians known for their appreciation of Hendrix: Buddy Guy, Johnny Lang, Kenny Waye Shepperd, Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon of Double Trouble, and pedal steel innovator Robert Randolph. Also: Robby Krieger of the Doors, Mick Taylor of the Rolling Stones, Cory Glover of Living Colour, Doyle Bramhall, Hubert Sumlin, Native American band Indigenous, Kid Rock guitarist Kenny Olson, transcriber/chops guru Andy Aledort, and guitarist/vocalist Eric Gales.

The Experience Hendrix Tour is presented by Experience Hendrix, LLC; the family-owned company that preserves and protects the legacy of Hendrix.

The first Experience Hendrix Tour featured Guy, Shepherd, Sumlin, Carlos Santana, Joe Satriani and Paul Rodgers, as well as Mitchell and Cox. It played sold out shows in San Francisco, Portland and Seattle in February of 2004 and garnered rave reviews. The current tour’s East Coast swing sold out shows in Washington, DC; New York City; Hampton Beach, NH; Atlantic City, NJ and Waterbury, CT, before adding a show Providence, RI, and a command performance at New York City’s Beacon Theater.
