We bring you inside the Taylor Road Show and Sweetwater''s HQ

Fort Wayne, IN (April 9, 2008) -- We''ve hit the road for a new, ongoing series called “On Location,” where we visit different parts of the country to scope out places where gear is made, played and displayed. If it involves gear, we’d like to go there!

We begin our series in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where Sweetwater Music is headquartered. Sweetwater’s facilities and approach to gear education blew us away. Their corporate headquarters is where we caught up with the traveling Taylor Road Show, a must-attend event for anyone who digs guitars. We take you there with videos of the whole experience. Enjoy!

LARES Acoustic Enhancement System - Sweetwater Music''s corporate headquarters is home to a state-of-the-art theater system. Guitar related? Perhaps not, but the room''s ability to change from the acoustic properties of a cathedral to dead silence, and everything in between, is worth a watch.

Taylor Road Show: Tonewoods and Tops - The Taylor Road Shows are jam-packed with information, but one segment that stood out was their simple-yet-complete description of how different tonewoods shape your sound.

Taylor Road Show: The Solid Body Story - The story of how an acoustic company decided to take on the solidbody electric guitar.

Taylor Road Show: Solid Body Demo - If you''ve wondered how the Taylor Solid Body sounds, here''s a demo of the guitar played through a VOX Heritage AC30 and an EVH full stack and a Fender Twin.
