November 28, 2012

Nashville, TN (November 28, 2012) -- Gibson has announced a new line of Tribute Les Pauls and SGs encompassing the '50s, '60s, '70s, and the future. The releases are part of the company's 2013 "Year of Les Paul" celebration. According to Gibson, these models are aimed at, "capturing the essence of a great Les Paul guitar from one of four different eras. All embody the full magic of this legendary guitar design, but are stripped down for improved value and no-nonsense performance." Here are the details on each from Gibson's website:

Les Paul '50s Tribute
The Les Paul ’50s Tribute nails the look, feel, and tone of the set-neck, single-cutaway solidbody that started it all—the original Les Paul Model of the early to mid 1950s.
