Godin Releases Multiac Encore Nylon

May 10, 2011
Montreal, Canada (May 10, 2011) -- Made in Canada and introduced at this past Winter NAMM show in Anahiem, the Godin Multiac Encore Nylon is an instrument that offers players all the great features found in the renowned Multiac electro-acoustic line-up, including custom electronics and the ability to play in live & loud band settings with virtually no feedback. The Encore is also the most affordable Multiac model to date with a suggested list price of $995.

The Multiac Encore Nylon is equipped with Godin custom electronics. This easy to use Blendable Dual Source System features an undersaddle transducer as well as two acoustic soundboard sensors, with the ability to blend one into the other. These soundboard sensors add depth, warmth and are excellent to magnify the percussive nature of flamenco players. The Encore is ideal for guitarists looking for an incredible, amplified nylon string sound and feel, all in an instrument that is a no-hassle dream for sound engineers to soundcheck.

The Multiac Encore nylon string, also features a 25 ½” scale and a comfortable 1 7/8” nut width, making it easy for electric steel string players to transition to nylon strings. This model features a chambered silver leaf maple body with a solid cedar top, natural semi-gloss finish, as well as a dual source preamp with volume, treble, mid, bass and blend control sliders. The mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with Godin’s “Ergocut” shaping technique, which bevels the edges of the fingerboard inwards for a worn-in feel and extremely comfortable playability.
