PG's Rebecca Dirks is On Location in Anaheim, CA, for NAMM 2010 where she visits the Peavey Electronics booth. In this segment, we get introduced to several of Peavey's newest guitar and bass heads. First up, the Nano Vypyr which is the single-speaker, battery powered little brother to the popular line of Vypyr heads and combos. Also, we get to see the new 6534+ that is designed and built similar to their popular 6505 head but features EL34 power tubes. Another guitar amp released at the show was the Butcher, which has two channels (clean and crunch) that both have their own preamp boost switch and master volume. Also, it has a built-in active effects loop. Lastly, we check out their bass amp offerings; the all-tube, 300 watt VB-3 (used by Michael Anthony) and the new 600 watt Headliner.
