Summer NAMM '10: Martin 00-15, 0-18T Nick Reynolds
August 10, 2010
PG's Joe Coffey is On Location in Nashville, TN, for the 2010 Summer NAMM Show where he swings by the Martin Guitar booth. In this segment, we get to check out some of their newest guitars--the 00-15 & the 0-18T Nick Reynolds Tenor Guitar.
Martin's 0-18T is a cool, new tenor model with a solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and a traditional 18-style rosette. Compared to the other full-bodied Martin models, it's much smaller, but the 0-18T packs a meaty punch.
The 00-15 features a 00-14 fret body style that can be made with either solid sapele or solid mahogany (top, back, and sides). The bridge is either made of Solid Morado or Solid East Indian Rosewood, while the neck can be created from several choice hardwoods that would be matched with a solid morado or solid East Indian rosewood fingerboard.
