Nashville (August 21, 2007) - 335 Records is looking for the hottest new guitarist, singer and band in the country. The 335 label, formed by legendary guitarist Larry Carlton and his manager Robert Williams, is teaming up with TrueFire to find phenomenal talent and kick start their careers.
Interested artists must go to Larry Carlton’s website and download the entry form. The contest will involve regional competitions that will give contestants a chance to show off their stuff in front of live audiences. The first regional live competition will be conducted at Premier Guitar Festival – Boston, September 15 -16. Participants must enter the contest online before attending the Festival.
Larry Carlton is among the most listened to and in-demand guitarists in history. His repertoire includes extensive session work with a slew of artists ranging from Quincy Jones to Jerry Garcia.
