Fender University is a three-day experience filled with Fender gear, artists, instructional clinics and musical performances. Highlights of the Fender University curriculum included a tour of the Fender production facility in Corona, CA and its Fender Custom shop; clinics from world-class artists such as Dweezil Zappa, Yngwie Malmsteen, John 5 and Frank Bello; and intimate instructional workshops with top-flight Fender clinicians.

As part of their experience, each student received a Fender American Standard instrument of their choice, with a special commemorative Fender University neck plate and custom engraved pickguard, among assorted other goodies.

The Fender University program took place August 22-24.  It’s the first Fender event of its kind and the company says it looks forward to conducting more Fender University events in the future.
