The Kemper Profiling Amplifier is a new concept for guitar amplification in the digital domain. The Kemper Profiling Amplifier "learns" the sonic behavior of any guitar amplifier and offers exactly the tone and feel the player knows from his "real" amp. The times of struggling to "re-find" that magic mic position in front of the speaker are over. Now there will be a profile available of basically any sonic condition the tube amp setup can provide.
That is why the Kemper Profiling Amplifier will come stacked full with profiles of classic tube amps: the british, the californish, the germish ... of course including the classic speaker cabinets which are a part of the profiling result.
The Kemper Profiling Amplifier will come as a lunchbox size device ,with all the professional connections for home, studio and on stage use. It is completed with a stomp box section, a master FX section and a set of unique, before impossible parameters for shaping the amp profiles further, from classic architecture to modern. A realistic power amp sagging, which is normally only available at very high volume, is also "a part of the stack".
The retail price for the Kemper Profiling Amplifier is not decided yet, availability is expected to be in the second quarter of 2011.
The TS9B is equipped with controls to allow bassists to produce the sound they want while still maintaining the feel of the Tubescreamer. Experimenting with the mix and tone controls allows for creation of a limitless number of sounds. Players can get a tight, fuzzy sound with mix control or a mid-scooped, funky sound with 2-band control.
The Ibanez BB9 is a booster that provides a fat bottom end and a powerful sound. This pedal is designed to help clean tones reverberate even more and bring more intensity to a player's sound. It is a true bypass stompbox.
The Ibanez JD9 produces a unique sound reminiscent of a high-grade handcrafted effects pedal. From piercing distortion to the warm crunch of a tube amp, this pedal features a wide variety of drive control options. The mid control is capable of producing a vast range of sounds from American hard rock to British heavy metal. The pedal is also designed with True Bypass to keep changes in sound when the pedal is off to a minimum.
The new Empire from 65Amps is packed with a trio of classic high-gain British voices from different eras. The first voice mirrors those from the early '60s, the second is from the '68-'72 era, and the third is a hot-rodded '80s tone. Interestingly enough, the tone chefs at 65 challenged themselves to accomplish this feat with 6V6 tubes. The amp is a very loud 22 watts but features a Master Voltage control that lets you bring the volume down to bedroom levels. MSRP approx. $2900.

Combining PCM synthesis with digital instrument modeling derived from the respected VG-99 V-Guitar System, the GR-55 represents Roland's latest breakthrough advances in guitar synthesis, offering playability, features, and sound quality that far surpasses the capabilities of previous generations of guitar synthesizers.
Driven by Roland's newest proprietary digital processing technology, the GR-55 delivers lightning-fast tracking performance and previously impossible sound-making capabilities. It features two independent synthesizer sound engines, each loaded with over 900 of Roland's latest sounds, including pianos, organs, strings, vintage and modern synths, percussion, and many more. A third sound engine is driven by Composite Object Sound Modeling (COSM®), the guitar modeling technology behind Roland's famous VG-99 V-Guitar System. With COSM, the GR-55 can emulate electric and acoustic guitars, basses, and other instruments, as well as guitar and bass amplifiers.
The GR-55 allows players to combine all three sound engines, plus their guitar's normal input, to create any sound from the familiar to the original. An independent multi-effects processor is available for a huge array of tone-shaping options, plus global reverb, chorus, delay effects and EQ to add final sweetening to any sound.
The GR-55 puts guitarists instantly in touch with a huge library of amazing sounds, with no editing required. The onboard lineup of ready-to-use presets takes the pain out of the process, from pop to rock and beyond, with quick-access category buttons. Creating and editing sounds is a breeze for guitarists as well, thanks to a large LCD display, simple front panel, and the intuitive EZ Edit and Sound Style features. Also, onboard is a phrase looper that lets players capture on-the-fly recordings with unlimited sound-on-sound style overdubs.
The GR-55 also features a USB song player that lets users play WAV files stored on USB flash memory, and song playback can be controlled with the onboard pedals. The GR-55 also functions as an audio/MIDI interface for computers, with a rear-panel USB 2.0 port for a quick and easy connection. Users can easily integrate with their favorite digital audio workstation software, recording GR-55 sounds as audio in the DAW and using the GR-55's super-fast pitch-to-MIDI capabilities to trigger MIDI sounds such as virtual synths and samplers with their guitar.
The GR-55 is equipped with Roland's industry-standard 13-pin GK interface. It is possible to use a GR-55 as an effect processor for a non-GK equipped guitar, but to access the GR-55's enormous palette of sounds, guitarists must use an instrument equipped with a GK-compatible pickup, such as Roland's GK-3 Divided Pickup. The GK-3 can be easily installed on most steel string guitars with no modification to the instrument. In addition, many different GK-ready instruments are commercially available from various top guitar manufacturers.

The Firebird X features all new electronics with a Pure-Analog Digital Signal Processing engine with Goldtone FX. The Firebird X features a 2.3 pound chambered Ash body, one-piece asymmetrical maple neck, 23-fret Angelim Rajado (Brazilian Marblewood) 24.75" fretboard with abalone inlays. The guitar feature robot tuners, Tune-o-matic piezo robot bridge, and stop bar robot tailpiece. The Firebird X is loaded with proprietary FBX pickups: alnico II in the neck, ceramic middle, and alnico V bridge humbuckers. The Firebird X electronics control the guitar's built-in effects and include an 11-position Gear Shift Knob rotary knob, effects faders for Modulation/Echo/Reverb (blue) and Compression/Distortion/EQ (red), and three three-position toggles with wet/dry blend: Modulation/Reverb/Echoplex (blue), Compression/Distortion/EQ (red), Pickup programming/Piezo/Tuning (silver). The guitar comes with an accessory pack unique to its electronics including a Bluetooth number controller pedal, Bluetooth continuous pedal, and battery power converter for the rechargeable Lithium Ion battery.
