Diamond & Blankenship - New Partnership, New Amps

PG's Joe Coffey is On Location in Houston, TX, where he visits the Diamond/Blankeship Amps factory. In this video segment, we hear from Diamond Amps' Jeff Diamant and Terry Martin and Blankenship Amps' founder Roy Blankenship talk to us about their newly formed partnership. Both companies will retain their name and own projects, but Jeff Diamant did say that this alliance will breed new vintage-esque Diamond-style amps, including the Diamond's Balinese and Del Fuego models, both low-wattage amp offerings. In addition, we hear about the birth of this partnership and what we can expect from both companies in the future.

Rig Rundown - Testament's Alex Skolnick

In this video segment, we hear from Alex about his collaboration with Heritage Guitars out of Kalamazoo, MI, as they are in the final stages on completing his signature guitar, which features Skolnick's John Hancock on the headstock, mahogany body, maple top and Seymour Duncan '59 Jeff Beck humbuckers. Premier Guitar is On Location in Chicago, IL, where we visit Specimen Products and the Chicago School of Guitar Making. In this video segment, we take an inside look at their "Tube Amplifier Building Workshop," by featuring clips of students working in the lab, first-hand testimonial and finished product demos that are said to be based on old Fender Tweed Champ and 18-watt Marshall circuits. As the video illustrates, each student is given a workstation, all necessary tools and amp kits provided by Mojo Music.
