Buffalo FX Introduces the Patriot

The Patriot uses rare Russian diodes to emulate the sound of David Gilmour's lead tone.

Toulouse, France (February 10, 2014) -- Following in the footsteps of the Buffalo FX Rams head, Steve Painter’s latest release takes on the mighty early 90’s Russian muff.

Synonymous with David Gilmour’s tone during Pink Floyd’s Division Bell tour, this muff is arguably the biggest and the heaviest of them all. For those searching the creamiest of smooth lead tones and crushing rhythms this is the go to pedal.

The circuit is tweaked in all the right places, extremely rare Russian diodes as found in the originals are thrown into the mix too, and for those who need it, an internal trim pot rolls off some of the huge low end typical of this type of pedal.

Like all Buffalo pedals, the Patriot is 100% hand made using high quality materials and low tolerance components.

The Patriot is available for 155.00 Euros.
