Low profile maple neck (stained black), ebony fretboard (1-7/8" nut), jumbo frets, abalone dot inlays and Crosby's signature between the 16th & 17th frets, polished ebony headplate with the sailboat inlay featured on the D-18DC signature edition of 2002, chrome enclosed gears with ebony buttons. This is a Breedlove Custom Shop C20-12 String Guitar. All Breedlove instruments are known for their great quality, beautiful woods and craftsmanship especially the Custom Shop Models. However in virtually every guitar magazine poll taken the Breedlove 12 string is considered special.
This particular one happens to be exceptionally beautiful as well. It has a Mahogany body with a striking fine grained Redwood top with Bloodwood Master Class Bindings and Herringbone purfling all along the body and edges of the neck. The neck is Mahogany with an Ebony fretboard and a set of 12 Gold Grovers for tuners.
The rosette is a wide circle of Mother of Pearl that offsets the dark Redwood magically. The Redwood top is not only beautiful, but gives the instrument a wonderful tone.
