The Lone Star Deluxe has all the fit, finish and tone of Chuck's other non-metal tone ring models, clean peghead lines, a Dobson-style heel and a frailing scoop. It has a laminated neck with veneers running up each side of the center strip for strength, but without laminations under the peghead and fingerboard, 25.5" scale, double action truss rod, bone nut measuring 1-11/32 to 1-3/8" and ebony fingerboard with side dots. The peghead sports a plain ebony overlay with single Lone Star inlay and 5 Star tuning pegs, and the wooden tone ring sits on a 12" two-ply rim with a Renaissance head and No Knot tailpiece, 14 brackets, neck woods and finish colors vary somewhat.
