Slices through heavy processing, where darker-sounding pickups get lost in the mud of the effects chain. Low notes have both snap and chunk, and there is a spike in the midrange for a sound like a wah-wah pedal stopped in the middle. more information »

Fralin's hottest conventional single coil for Teles, this pickup adds even more mids, to help attenuate that bridge-pickup bite that Teles are famous for. 10% overwound (stocked) or 15% overwound (special order).
About Magnet Staggers
We carry Fralin's Tele bridges with a stock stagger or hybrid stagger. The stock stagger is conventional, the magnet heights are staggered per Fender's '50s specs. The hybrid stagger is flat with a raised D. Fralin feels this is the more appropriate choice for many modern guitars that have a flatter radius than the original 7.25" radius used on vintage Fender guitars and vintage reissues. Additionally, the original stagger was optimized for guitars with a wound G string. Because plain G strings are the norm today, some players (Fralin included) feel that the stock stagger doesn't provide as good a string-to-string balance as the hybrid stagger. A third stagger (Broadcaster - all poles flat) is available. We don't stock these because they're so similar to the hybrid stagger, but will happily special order them for you. If you want this option, please order the pickup with a stock stagger, and include a comment that you want us to substitute the Broadcaster stagger (lead time will be approximately 4 weeks). more information »

It's not difficult to make a vintage single-coil pickup that's clean and bright, but not so easy if you also want the high strings to sound sweet above the 12th fret. The True Velvet was designed to make this happen by tuning the coil to a frequency range more information »

Unlike most dual signal acoustic pickup systems which utilize a transducer along with a microphone, this system utilizes two transducers; an under-saddle element and a soundboard element. The dual signal goes to an onboard 2-channel preamp with soundhole mounted volume and blend controls. The mixed signal then passes to a standard 1/4" endpin-output jack. This system produces a strong signal with a wide dynamic range. A very straightforward and effective system. Available for guitars with either a 3/32" or 1/8" saddle width.
