More Music has been supplying working musicians with pro gear and vintage string instruments since 1993. Owner Dave Handloff is an experienced soundman, musician and technician whose credits include Van Morrison, Bob Weir, Journey, Maria Mulduar and many other top acts. Dave is also one of the most knowledgeable people on the West Coast when it comes to vintage guitars and amps. After the store's first customer, Jack Casady, More Music has evolved from a tiny hole-in-the-wall shop for those in-the-know, to a full-service retail store with a large selection of used and vintage acoustic guitars, electric guitars, basses, lap steels, amps, ukuleles, mandolins and effects. Recent clients include Edie Brickell, Sting, Jimmie Vaughn, Steve Kimock, John Prine and members of Galactic, Ozomatli, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Doobie Brothers and many others. We offer appraisals, repairs, lessons and consignments. |
