More Music is selling this brand new Gitane DG-250M acoustic guitar. Warrantied by Saga Music. A faithful recreation of a rare original vintage selmer guitar as played by and a favorite of John Jorgenson. "I took it with me to Samois ... and it held its own in many a jam session, with a lead tone audible over as many as 8 ryhthm guitars all playing at once!" We hand-picked this particular guitar from dozens in the manufacturer's warehouse, and as you can see compared to the others in the photos below, we picked one with exceptional quilting in the maple. As an added bonus, this particular guitar was hand-signed by John Jorgensen as well. Any fan of Django Reinhardt, Gypsy jazz guitar or Hellecaster John Jorgenson will be thirlled with this Maccaferri-style guitar. Made in Japan, carved body, maple fingerboard, w/case. The Eagle was a FENDER® Strat/P-Bass style guitar/bass with an eagle carved into the body. Maple fingerboard, black dots, FENDER® style head, black multiply pickguard w/ split-coil pickup, volume and tone knobs. These were made between 76 and 78. The actual model number is U1974. Besides the awesome carving work on the body, this is actually an exceptionally good player as well. Straight neck, good action, no buzzing. Volume pot is mildly scratchy. Plays and sounds like a P Bass®, and with the neck profile and pickup very similar, that should come as little suprise. Bridge cover intact. This Classical guitar was hand made in Costa Rica in 1965. Its spruce top with Rosewood back and sides help bring out its brilliant tone, and its rosewood fingerboard and mahogany neck allow for smooth playability. This Japanese-made Alvarez Yairi dreadnought is quite similar to a Martin HD-28 in its herringbone purfling, and its mahogany back and sides and solid spruce top. The rosette and body binding is of high appointment. It has a nut width of 1.75 inches and the action measured on the low E at the twelve fret is just barely over 1/16 of an inch. Tonally, it is in the traditional dreadnought vein of possessing a balanced tone from low to high without being overpowering. A great buy for someone wanting an older dreadnought with classic inherent tone without spending top dollar for a vintage Martin. more information »

Dreadnaught sized Garrison AG-600-CE acoustic guitar with artet electronics and cut-away. Solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides with a Nato neck and rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The Top Bracing is equiped with Griffiths Active Brace. By integrating the binding, kerfing, bridge plate and all the braces into one glass fibre component, the top is activated by having all parts vibrate in unison. It also provides enhanced structural stability that would normally take hours to construct using traditional production techniques. We do it in just 45 seconds by employing unique projection molding technologies. The technology is not designed to cut corners, but add value. A single-unit brace means no matter where you create a vibration inside your guitar, the resonance has an uninterrupted path to travel throughout the instrument. more information »

This antique O size parlor guitar has oak back and sides and a spruce top. It has an original compensated bridge with loading tailpiece, a slotted headstock, and with old tuners that may or may not be original. The bottom strap button is present, but the top strap button is missing. Its lightweight, playability, and surprisingly loud, warm tone make it a great candidate for collectors and players alike. We don't know when it was made nor by whom, but judging by the size and shape, as well as the oak used, we'd venture to say it was made prior to 1950. more information »
