Seymour Duncan New Blackouts, P-Rails
New stuff from Seymour Duncan -- seven-string Blackouts (2 sizes), a Blackout single-coil and a Blackout for high-gain players. Also, SD's new P-Rails split a full-size humbucker into either a "real deal" P-90 or a traditional single-coil.

NAMM '08.. ??? Are you kidding me? How much dust did you have to blow off of this video before posting it?

I have a set of P-rails that came stock in my Godin Icon Type 2 Convertible. These pickups are the best I've used in 48 years of playing. The Godin is a great guitar, too. I has 2 three-way switches to get all combos. You can get every tone you ever wanted fro one great playing (and great looking) guitar. You get all the individual tones from the 3 PU types plus, with the selector in the middle, you get lots of different tones by combining P-09/single; humbucker/P-90, etc. My favorite tone is P-90 on the neck with Fender single coil on the bridge. I play mostly clean. (I'm always irritated that online reviews always test the guitar through the distortion channel... ANY guitar will dound good distorted, but the great ones sound great CLEAN!)
