PG's Chris Burgess is On Location in Nashville, TN, for Summer NAMM '09 where he visits the Ibanez booth. In this segment we check out several familiar models with a bit of a twist. First up is the 30th Anniversary Musician Bass, which is limited to 15 basses worldwide. The bass made famous by Sting features swamp ash body, 5 piece maple/walnut neck, ebony fingerboard and a MC30TH Special Inlay. Next up is the 20th Anniversary of the Paul Gilbert PGM100RE. It features a basswood body, 5 piece maple/walnut neck, bound rosewood fingerboard and has a H-S-H pickup configuration. Finally, the wait is over as Ibanez has released left-hand Steve Vai and Joe Satriani signature models.

Yay for left hand models. It's about time. Ibanez needs to do the Universe 7 string in this setup, too. I'm not a lefty, but it's great to see Ibanez have a couple of their sig axes available for them.

I'm not a Floyd Rose fan, but it's great to see Ibanez make Lefty Models of the Satriani and Vai guitars. We deserve some good stuff and tired of Black Strats!
