Horrid demo, the few tones he played sound useless

Maybe some of that high cost of R&D would be better spent on a well prepared demonstration of something that is actually useful. Lately art = circus. So ladies and gentlemen step right up, our playstation is better than yours so it's not one thin dime anymore. I would buy it if it would make shaving cream and a great dessert topping.

Cool, But I'll pass.. I don't like things that involve guitar playing and software updates in order to play guitar.

"... can run all of Eventide's stompbox effects". Having bought SPACE in autumn last year, I honestly feel ripped off now.

SOund is everything... verbatim repeats in decay... have to hear it more... need to write a song: real sound vs emulation... it will have to be on the comedy rock LP... LOve to hear more... the name Eventide just sounds cool... Great Stuff. Cheers Audiohipster

Cool pedal but the fact it can only do one effect at a time is a bummer. Why can't they give us a multi effects unit of at least 3-4 effects in a pedal? The technology exist it they would really sell. offer both a single and a multi that cost a bit more...give us the choice. Only concern is of roadworthiness here...hope that jog wheel doesn't get in the way and get crushed when stomping on the switches on dark stages...hope that wheel is not made of cheap plastic and is at least stainless steel. The white looks like an iPhone but it may get dirty quick with black soled shoes and dirt....a stainless steel chassis would have been more durable...time will tell. Congrats to Eventide for putting this cool pedal with some great features!

Just another in the long, pathetic, over-engineered line of worthless over-priced gadgets for people with more money than talent. Glue your phone to your guitar? Give me a break.

An interesting concept and a tech geeks wet dream, but as with Digitech's new pedals I wouldn't EVEN consider buying something like this due to being primarily dependent on having to buy additional Apple product(s) to use the damn thing. Do Eventide,Digitech, and Presonus get a kickback for this one sided engineering?

At first I thought this was kind of a pain in the ass because I thought you could only use an iOS device to control it, but turns out you can also manage presets with your PC / Mac too. Plus, they say you can modify all the parameters from the pedal itself! So looks to me like the ideal workflow would be – play around at home, save settings, play at gig, tweak, repeat. Instead of having to glue your phone into your guitar like some kind of cracked out Matt Bellamy. Now that I kn
