Zaphods Dog on 02/18/2013	Actually, reversing the orientation puts the pickups out of phase and give a different (thinner edgier) sound when both pickups are run together. Yes, even with humbuckers. See Peter Green and his famous backwards pickup Les Paul. Yes, there is such a thing.

Rick,Hayard, ca.. on 02/11/2013	Perfect riffs to demo pkup..Pkup sounds good! Details in beginning bummed me out.. staggered pole pieces give (not 1up-1dn-1up-1dn)give flavor/tone..on standard Hbuck the screws allow for EQ to the Ear or volume...I always flip H-buck up side down(no such thing) so screws whether @ bridge or neck are on the side where a middle pkup would be... Get it? the theory of it? ....Put a HB in a Kids old Iceman 1Time(flipped)& he said,hey but that puts the Bass portion of the Pkup on the high strings/viceverse....lol....
