Sean (guitarist) said that he wasn't given the opportunity to dial in his own tone before the interview. So I'm sure the guitars have the potential to sound wayyy better than presented in this video.

First mistake with d-tuned or seven string guitars: Over distortion. They just "muddy" up.

The recording is nasty sounds like a blown speaker like to hear it through a real amp and recorded at a good level. Looks very cool great price.
