Framus Headstocks Get Makeover

Warwick-Framus reduces flare on new headstocks.

Markneukirchen, Germany (July 23, 2008) -- Framus has announced that they are changing the traditional inlay on their headstocks on nearly all their production models. The Framus logo will remain on the headstock.

However, there are some exceptions to this aesthetic change. The “flagship” models Framus AK 1974 and Framus AZ- 10 will continue featuring their traditional Eiffel Tower and Trapeze inlays on their headstocks. All Custom Shop instruments will remain unchanged. By request, a regular Framus production model can be ordered with a traditional inlay as a Framus Custom Shop option.
