Not only did Velvet Revolver announce booting Weiland (Slash blames his lack of passion for either the music or fans), but Weiland''s previous band, the Stone Temple Pilots, is reuniting for a tour this summer. Performing as the politically active Nightwatchman, Morello''s tour is meant to address a different social problem at each spot. The tour features other artists like Ben Harper, Slash, Perry Farrell, Boots Riley of The Coup, Maynard James Keenan of Tool and Puscifer, Shooter Jennings, State Radio and Mike Einzinger of Incubus.
