This bass features a 34" scale, medium taper neck, passive electronics and ships with a hard-shell case. The instrument is named after the cutdown, or skelly, which was a customized scooter, with parts removed or cutaway, popular during the mod revival of the 1970s and '80s.
"With the clean lines and small body of this instrument, the name was fitting," said Bob Singer, President/CEO of Waterstone guitars. "This bass is also one of the first to pass through our prototype program, and is the culmination of the input of numerous players throughout the country. We are very excited by the results."
