The rear-panel HybridMASTER control has the same goal as an attenuatorяi.e., to yield great tone at more manageable volumesяbut designer Jamie Scott says that, unlike attenuators, this new feature adjusts multiple points in the circuit rather than just one in order to preserve the feel and tone achieved at full volume. We were very impressed with what we heard from it at the show."
