Minneapolis, MN (August 12, 2013) -- Tim Reede Custom Guitars introduces the Librada acoustic/electric guitar. Made like an acoustic guitar but the body is smaller and the sound hole is moved to the side to reduce feedback issues. The electromagnet pickup is made by Kent Armstrong, The acoustic pickup is a K&K soundboard transducer with an onboard preamp. Each pickup has a separate output jack. Push buttons are used to turn on or off each pickup.

This guitar is great for the musician that needs to play both acoustic and electric guitar but only wants to bring one instrument. It also works well for sampling an acoustic sound and then switching to an electric guitar sound and playing a solo over the sample. Or it can be used for a stereo effect when both systems are used simultaneously.
