Our guitar of the month is such an extreme rarity that there is only one in existence. This 89-year-old beauty made by Martin employee, Grant Remaley, has remarkable features for its time period including high-grade, handpicked koa top, back and sides; a factory pickguard; and an ebony board and bridge with a superior snowflake inlay. Like any well-crafted guitar, this one keeps getting better with age.

Zach loves his Sovtek Mig 60 head, which he plays through a cab he built himself at a pipe-organ shop in Denver. Every glue joint is lined with thin leather for maximum air tightness, and it’s stocked with Celestion G12M Greenback speakers.
