GuitarInstructor.com was launched on December 19, 2007. It offers video lessons for all levels of guitarists wanting to learn different genres (the site has everything from hard rock to Disney).
The site features legal, artist-approved tabs and an easy-to-use transcription system. GI.com already has more than 6,000 songs available for download or print-out, including songs by Hendrix, Clapton and Van Halen. Each video song features introductory tips, as well as a split screen shot of the instructor’s hands and a scrolling tab that follows each measure.
