A powerful two-channel overdrive aimed at copping hot-rod British tones.
Mesa, AZ (December 4, 2020) -- Adding to the company’s line of innovative effects, LPD Pedals has launched the new Eighty7 Deluxe. The Eighty7 is an all-analog, 2-channel overdrive pedal designed for the discerning musician seeking 80’s modded British tones.
The new Deluxe provides two completely independent Eighty7 channels. Each channel offers a choice of Green and Red circuit (more on that shortly), along with controls for Level, Gain, Bass, Middle and Treble. The two channels share a global Presence control.
Each of the pedal’s two channels provides a 2-position toggle for selecting either a Green circuit or Red circuit voicing. This is the secret sauce that defines the Eighty7’s incredible versatility. The Green circuit is based on an early 80’s hot rodded JCM800 of unknown origin. The Red circuit is based on a Jose Arredondo-modded high-gain Plexi. The Eighty7 delivers everything from light break up to the roar of a hot rod Plexi in a conveniently sized pedal.
In addition, the Eighty7 Deluxe features internal bright switches per channel, soft touch true bypass switching, top mounted jacks, and 9 volt operation all in a rugged 1lb, 4 5/8”L x 3 5/8”W x 2”H package.
Features:
- Two independent channels of authentic 1980s British overdrive tones
- Full Tone Stack, Bass, Mid, Treble on both channels
- Each channel has 2-position toggle for selecting Green or Red circuit
- Soft Touch True Bypass Switching
- 9-volt operation using standard external supply (no battery compartment)
- Made in Mesa AZ USA
The street price for the Eighty7 Deluxe is $299.99 and it is available at the LPD Pedals website.
