Avoiding the dreaded "Popeye Arm" when playing at the speed of light.

A while back I had a very entertaining conversation with a friend, who happens to be a fantastic bassist and could probably show a lot of guitarists a thing or two about staying relaxed while playing… particularly while playing fast. Watching him play was a bit strange in that it looked nothing like it sounded.
