We’ve teamed up with StewMac to give away a set of Parsons Street Humbuckers. Meticulously modeled after legendary, priceless original P.A.Fs, these unpotted beauties capture the exact holy grail tone that changed music forever. Don't miss out on upgrading your rig!
Straight-up raw vintage tone! Closely modeled after outstanding original P.A.F.s, these humbuckers capture the tone that changed music forever.
Crafted by tone experts.
StewMac's own Erick Coleman tracked down priceless original P.A.F. humbucker sets and meticulously studied the materials and construction that gives these pickups their truly timeless tone. Once he cracked the code, that tone was undeniable!
StewMac christened these exceptional humbuckers in tribute to the famous Kalamazoo address where the holy grail of pickups, the legendary P.A.F. (Patent Applied For), was born.
We build them like they used to!
Just like the originals, the slug coil has more windings than the polepiece coil, and both coils are unpotted. Old P.A.F.s weren't made in separate neck and bridge-position models, and their DC resistance varied from 7-9K ohms. Parsons Street neck position pickups are wound to mid 7K range, and bridge position models to low 8K range.
Vernon Reid is one of the most inventive guitarists in modern rock, equal parts razor-tight riff machine (hello, "Cult of Personality") and fearless avant-garde noise explorer. In this Blueprint, we dig into the gear that captures the essence of what he does: the Reverend Vernon Reid Signature guitar and four pedals he's actually used, the DigiTech Whammy Ricochet, DigiTech FreqOut, Red Panda Particle, and Red Panda Tensor. The takeaway? Be adventurous, take chances, and use gear that changes how you approach the instrument. You won't become Vernon Reid (nobody can), but you can get into the ballpark.
Reverend Guitars
Vernon Reid Signature
Reid's signature solidbody from the "Totem Series," which comes in three artwork variants (The Mystery Tramp, The Shaman, The Talisman) that share identical specs. All feature korina bodies, three-piece korina necks, ebony fretboards, custom-covered Railhammer pickups, and a Floyd Rose. Specifics: 24¾" scale, soft-V neck, 12" radius, 22 frets, Floyd Rose 1000 Series Pro, Railhammer Vernon Reid signature pickup set, with Volume, Tone, Bass Contour, and a 5-way selector. The body graphics are AI-generated images inspired by Carl Jung's Collective Unconscious theory, Joseph Campbell's The Hero's Journey, and artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Romare Bearden, with West African Adinkra symbols on the pickups/headstock and American hobo symbols on the fretboard.
A compact pitch shifter that delivers Whammy-style rises and falls without a treadle: you hold the footswitch and customizable rise/fall ballistics do the rest. Seven pitch intervals (2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, octave, double octave, octave+dry) across a range up to two octaves up or down, with a trajectory LED ladder showing shift direction. It has classic and chords modes, momentary or latching footswitch operation, and true bypass in latching mode.
The DigiTech FreqOut Natural Feedback Creator allows you to get sweet, natural feedback at any volume, with or without distortion. The FreqOut is perfect for situations where volume must be controlled like in the studio, with in ear monitors, or low-volume performance and practice. However, the FreqOut can also be used at gig volume to focus out-of-control feedback on a preferred harmonic at any stage position. The FreqOut uses a 9VDC power supply to easily integrate into your existing pedalboard.
Particle™ is a granular delay / pitch shifting pedal. It chops your signal into small grains and then rearranges, shifts, and mangles it, using the techniques of granular synthesis in real time. Results range from radical pitch and delay modulation to shimmering repeats to time stretching, stutter, and glitch sounds.
The Tensor™ gives you live reverse and tape stop effects, pitch shifting, time stretching and hold functions that you can combine in creative ways. Slow down, speed up and rewind in real time. Play in reverse with pitch shifting. Stretch or compress time with no pitch change. Loop, overdub, and randomly slice phrases up to 9.4 seconds (4.7 seconds in stereo). The Tensor is always listening, so you can instantly rewind what you just played and seamlessly shift between forward and reverse. It constantly analyzes what you play at three levels - phrase, note, and waveform - to choose the best splice points, so you can focus on your playing.
The new passive DOD Mini Expression Pedal is just the right size for your pedal board, and your wallet. Rugged all-steel construction and gear drive means that there are no strings to break. Despite its compact form factor it is designed to have the same feel and throw as pedals that are twice its size (and price).
Duane Betts has been surrounded by music his whole life. And he's been in the shadow of his father -- a music force of nature. But during his hang with John Bohlinger, Betts explains he's come to terms with his family's legacy now standing from a place of pride. That peace has allowed him to flourish in his own right recently creating his best work yet in the 10-song collection, Isle of Hope, that was released June 12 on Sun Records. Letting go isn't easy, but Betts serene acceptance proves its a worthwhile practice.

Check out what gear they’re using to back up Williams in this new Rig Rundown. Brought to you by D’Addario.

3Bender
SteelMaster
The SteelMaster™️ is a new string bender design that can be mounted to a JM Offset style guitar vibrato without the need for drilling any new mounting holes. It can be used on any string to add a smooth and in tune glissando to the music. The bender levers can also be stacked to move chord voicings by bending notes a half tone or full tone.
If you are searching for a no rout/no drill string bending option for your Stoptail G style guitar, reach out at info@3Bender.com. We may have a solution for you and the website is not updated just yet.
