Yorkville Sound has launched the EXM Pro6 and EXM Pro8, two new additions to the EXM Pro battery-powered loudspeaker family.
The EXM Pro Series is designed for musicians, presenters, educators, and event professionals who require professional sound in a highly portable, battery-powered format. With up to 12 hours of battery life, integrated mixing and effects, and simple plug-and-play operation, the EXM Pro6 and EXM Pro8 make it easy to perform, present, or play music virtually anywhere—even without access to AC power.
The EXM Pro6 is the most compact model in the EXM Pro lineup, offering exceptional portability in a lightweight design that can go wherever the gig takes you. It features a 6” Woofer with 1” HF driver and delivers 250 watts of peak power (125 watts program). At just over 10 pounds, it’s a convenient take-anywhere solution for light-duty sound reinforcement.
For users who need greater low-frequency performance while maintaining easy transport, the EXM Pro8 features an 8-inch neodymium woofer (along with a 5” neodymium coaxial HF driver with 1” dome) that delivers deeper bass response without sacrificing portability. The EXM Pro8 builds on the compact convenience of the EXM Pro6 by adding more power and deeper bass response. It delivers 400 watts of peak power (200 watts program), and weighs just over 15 pounds.
Both models feature a 3-channel mixer with integrated effects, so you can plug in multiple microphones, instruments, or line level sources without requiring an external console. They also have a USB charging port for mobile devices, and Bluetooth® connectivity including wireless stereo playback between two cabinets.
