MODĀ® Kits, MOD102+ DIY Guitar Amp
The MOD 102+ is a great place to start for those interested in building their own tube amp. It is based on a classic American tube-circuit design combined with a British-style Class A output tube section that produces 8 Watts of power. At low volume it produces a clean, chimey tone that moves into smooth overdrive at higher volumes. The amp features a three position progressive toggle switch for off-standby-power. In addition, each control features push-pull functionality - pull out the bass control knob for "mid boost", pull out the treble control knob for "bright", pull out the volume control knob for "turbo". These features along with a JJ ECC803-S (a long plate 12AX7 known for its complex mid range tones) allow for a wider variety of tones and extra control for the user. All parts are included along with a pre-drilled steel chassis, wire, and tubes.

The pedal offers the same over-the-top fuzz as the original and features several new upgrades.
Tempe, AZ (February 8, 2021) -- To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its kits, Mod Electronics is releasing a new-and-improved version of the original Mod pedal ā āThe Rattlerā. This fan favorite is making its long-awaited comeback as āThe Rattler Returnsā.
The Rattler Returns offers the same over-the-top fuzz as the original Rattler and features several new upgrades. The circuit has been overhauled for a wider spectrum of fuzz that is steady when used with any pickups, pedals, or amps. The Rattler Returns preserves the diode clipping, a crucial component of the classic raw fuzz/distortion in the original but also features a diode lift switch. With the lift engaged, the pedal can hit volumes that easily drive any tube or pedal with fuzzed out guitar tones. The pedal now operates on +9V, so standard DC power supplies can be used in lieu of a battery if you choose.
The Rattler Returns DIY Pedal Kit is available for purchase from Amplified Parts for $47.95. For wholesale inquiries, please contact CE Distribution.

This pedal is the company's first new production kit being release with a laser-etched design.
Tempe, AZ (September 23, 2019) -- The Saturator is an overdrive pedal kit that covers a wide range of gain effects. The Saturator can transition smoothly from a massive clean boost to a warm, saturated, and sustained distortion with the turn of a knob.
The saturation is controlled with the Soak knob. The soak dials in the amount of symmetrical soft clipping applied to the guitar signal. When fully counterclockwise, the signal is unaffected and clean. Rotating the knob clockwise will incrementally increase the soft clipping. The sound will morph from a clean signal all the way to a heavy saturated overdrive sound and then into distortion territory. The āLevelā knob sets the overall volume of the clean or saturated output. Unity gain is roughly at 8 oāclock. With the āSoakā set to clean, rotating the āLevelā knob clockwise will increase the level to upwards of 30dB.
The Saturator is the first new production pedal kit being release with a laser etched design. MOD Kits DIY will release all current production pedals with new laser etched designs in the near future.
MOD Kits are designed to give novice and experienced musicians the opportunity to build their own amps and effects pedals. All kits come with easy-to-follow instructions and use point-to-point wiring. A pre-drilled enclosure and all necessary parts are included. All you need to provide are hand tools, a soldering iron and solder. The effect pedal operates on a 9V battery; for a longer lasting option, a 9-volt adapter can be purchased separately.
