Bochum, Germany (February 20, 2014) -- The new Engl Poweramp is a low weight, very compact unit in one rack space. It features stereo operation using EL84 power tubes and 20 watts per side. Each stereo channel has its own volume, presence and depth control for a wide variety of settings. There is also an input gain switch. Volume A/B switching and Sound Set A/B can be remote controlled via the Z-4 foot switch or a switcher connected to the stereo footswitch jack.
Other features include, standby switch for left and right, a ground lift switch and a very quiet built in fan. The Poweramp outputs are 8 ohms and 16 ohms for each channel. Tubes used are 4 x EL34 power tubes, 3 x 12AX7/ECC83 Preamp tube and phase splitter tubes.
