Charlie Worsham: From Nashville Sideman to Solo Star
The Nashville fixture shares his long journey from a bluegrasser in Mississippi to Music City fixture that's included studio time alongside Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, and Carrie Underwood, touring in bands fronted by Vince Gill & Dierks Bentley. He tells John Bohlinger about his struggle from band member to band leader and details the ultimate honor when Vince Gill invited him to join the Grand Ole Opry in August 2026. Twenty years into his stay in Nashville, Charlie Worsham isn't going anywhere but up.
