GALLERY: Show Us Your Gear - Unique Instruments

Oddball, one-off, custom, and handmade guitars, amps, and effects

"Verne built these guitars using NOS Danelectro/Coral Longhorn archtop bodies. ""They are very light, toneful, and a blast to play,"" he says. The six-string (top) uses the six-string neck from a Danelectro doubleneck with a Kent Armstrong floating humbucker and Fishman Powerjack with two soundboard-mounted piezo contact mics. The seven-string (bottom) uses a late '80s or early '90s Samick neck with a custom Kent Armstrong floating humbucker. Both feature custom ebony talipiece, bridge, and fingerrest made by Paul Iverson"
