The Guitar Foundation Of America''s annual classical guitar convention will take place this week Tuesday throught Sunday in San Fransisco. The event features recitals, master classes, a vendor''s fair and a solo guitar competition with cash prizes. "It''s pretty easy to argue that this is the most prestigious competition of its kind in the world," says Foundation president Brian Head, a Los Angeles guitarist and composer.
