We're asking for your help in getting feedback on our various products and services with our 2009 reader survey. Since we are a multimedia network that is built to suit the needs of you, our reader, your input is vital in helping us churn out the great content that you want and deserve.

So here are a few reasons why you should take a few minutes to complete the survey:
• Your feedback helps us continually improve our products.
• You'll have a great chance to win some cool prizes.
• You'll have a chance to tell gear manufacturers what you think.

Should you have any questions while completing the survey, please e-mail: surveys@harveyresearch.com. Harvey Research is highly respected and has completed thousands of surveys for publishers.

Call it like you see it!
Seriously, tell us how we're doing. Tell manufacturers how they're doing. We love to hear what we're doing right and what areas we need to improve upon. Everybody wins when we get better at what we do. Remember, how you respond to the survey will have no effect on your chances of winning a prize since the drawing is completely random.

A lot of cruel fates can befall a gig. But unless you’re a complete pedal addict or live in high-gain-only realms, doing a gig with just a reverb- and tremolo-equipped amp is not one of them. Usually a nice splash of reverb makes the lamest tone pretty okay. Add a little tremolo on top and you have to work to not be at least a little funky, surfy, or spacy. You see, reverb and modulation go together like beans and rice. That truth, it seems, extends even to maximalist expressions of that formula—like the SolidGold FX Ether.
