Freddy Villano is a professional bassist, writer, theater-maker and certified Alexander Technique teacher. He has toured and recorded with artists such as Quiet Riot, Widowmaker (featuring Dee Snider of Twisted Sister), David Bowie guitar legend Earl Slick, and countless independent bands, including American Mafia, The Crows, and Red56. He's currently holding down the low end for ’80s metal icons the Rods, whose new album Rattle the Cage (featuring Freddy on bass) was released on January 19, 2023. He studied at City College of New York/CUNY and at Dell’Arte International.
