PRS Corazon

On Sept. 24, PRS Signature Artist Carlos Santana will host and headline "The Ultimate Experience with Carlos Santana" at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. The event is subtitled "A Benefit for the Santana Telehealth Project, Sharing Medicine Across the Miles."

This special event, sponsored by Santana’s nonprofit Milagro Foundation, PRS Guitars, the House of Blues, and Casa Noble Tequila, will include a concert and a private cocktail reception with Santana, who will give one autographed, limited edition PRS “Corazon” SE Santana electric guitar to each couple attending. Funds raised will go to the new Santana Telehealth Project where the funds will jointly benefit Santuario de Luz (Sanctuary of Light), a medical clinic for children in the Jalisco, Mexico, town of Autlan, where Santana was born, and the Hospital Infantil de las Californias in Tijuana, the city where his family moved in 1955 when he was a boy.

“Carlos Santana is an extraordinary musician with an amazing heart,” states Paul Reed Smith, PRS Guitars working founder and Managing General Partner. “His foundation is making a significant positive impact in Autlan, Tijuana, and globally by supplying medical care for children in serious need. Carlos’s drive and commitment is inspiring, and we’re delighted to help to support the cause by supplying these limited edition “Corazon” guitars.”

The Santana Telehealth Project is a collaborative effort between The Milagro Foundation and the United States Foundation for the Children of the Californias (USFCC).

The Milagro Foundation was founded in 1998 by Carlos Santana, who was born in Autlan and spent his childhood years in Tijuana, Mexico.

The USFCC was founded in 1994 by Dr. Elizabeth Jones and Dr. Gabriel Chong in response to an urgent need for a pediatric medical facility in the border region of Tijuana, Baja California, and San Diego, California.

The “Corazon” SE Santana electric guitars feature the stunningly intricate art from Santana’s new album, “Corazon” on the face of each guitar. Fewer than 50 guitars will be made, all of which will be signed by Carlos at the event. Other features of the SE Santana guitar include a maple top, a 22 fret mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard,  PRS trademark bird inlays, PRS designed tremolo, and PRS SE 245 treble and bass pickups.
