The 58 Thinline combines the warm, vintage sound of a semi-hollowbody with the fat tone of two Rockfield SWC humbucker pickups. Its carved top and chambered mahogany body are both balanced and lightweight. The model boasts a rock maple neck with a modern “C” profile and a roasted jatoba fretboard with a 10” radius, and is comfortable for playing chords and blistering leads.

Michael Kelly Guitars Introduces New Triple 50 Model

Built upon the company's 1950s line, the new guitar uses three single-coils and a Super Six wiring mod.

Anaheim, CA (January 16, 2020) -- Michael Kelly Guitars, the “boutique within reach” guitar brand, is set to release the new Triple 50 electric guitar at NAMM 2020. The Triple 50 takes the beloved classic two-single-coil pickup configuration and adds a third single coil pickup. While still retaining the true sounds of the Michael Kelly 1950s line, the Super Six wiring mod offers players a wider variety of tones accessible through the mini toggle switch, which activates the middle pickup. The Triple 50 (MAP $499.99) in Burl Black or Gloss Black finish are available for sale now via michaelkellyguitars.com and Michael Kelly’s growing authorized dealer network.

The fusion of vintage and modern goes further than the electronics. The traditional bridge brings a classic look, while the compound radius fingerboard offers comfortable, modern playability. The thoroughly modern look of the Black Burl finish features an Ebony fretboard while the classic Gloss Black finish is beautifully paired with an elegant Maple fretboard.
