Mike Purcell

Mike Purcell, a Nashville native, has been a part of the city's music scene since his youth in the 1980s. Starting out in the hardcore scene, he parlayed his passion for gear and recording into a career as a successful engineer and producer. A foray into video production yielded a series of videos under the banners of Monkey Riot Recording & 6minor Films. Mike makes his own music in kettleflower and Hitman Louie, but his current creative outlet is designing and building guitar pedals as Monkey Riot Pedals. Mike studied at Belmont University.
