Friedman Phil X PX20, IR-Load, and VX30 | NAMM 2026

Dave Friedman and Phil X give us a tour of the PX20, a 20-watt amp with three stages that delivers percussive, articulate tones, plus a "thump" control and negative feedback loop. Friedman also showed off the IR-X Load Box with machine learning power amp technology that interacts with speakers like a tube amp, featuring reactive load, MIDI control, and both attenuator and reamp modes, and the VX30, a British AC-style amp with top boost and normal channels. Finally, we're treated to some hot licks from the X man.
