The new track is from Vile's forthcoming album, Bottle it In, due out on October 12.

(October 4, 2016) -- Following the release of acclaimed singles “Loading Zones” (“A captivating return for the artist's first solo song in three years” -The FADER) and “Bassackwards” (“Another delightful ramble through Mr. Vile’s imagination with a few sonic curveballs thrown into the guitar-heavy mix" -New York Times), Kurt Vile today shares a third single off of Bottle It In (out October 12 on Matador), titled “One Trick Ponies.” It’s a joyful and infectious country-rock number, with Vile playing harmonica, guitar, and piano, and harmonizing with Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa and Farmer Dave Scher on the big-hearted sing-a-long chorus.
