NY Amp Show '09-Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone Demo

PG's Joe Coffey is On Location at the 2009 New York Amp Show where he stops by the Pigtronix booth. In this segment, we get to check out Pigtronix's latest effects pedal; Philosopher's Tone. The Philosopher's Tone is an analog compressor and sustainer. With variable Sustain (threshold), Blend (ratio) and Treble controls, it offers a range of compression sounds. Also, it contains a smooth diode clipping distortion with a blend control for clean or dirty compression sounds and any mixture of the two. The Philosophers Tone distortion can rock on its own, it is designed to play well with other dirt pedals in order to create a distortion tone unique to each player.
