(April 3, 2013) -- Gigwise is reporting that Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has left the band's current tour, citing "personal issues." Here's the statement from Bon Jovi's official website:
Richie Sambora will not be performing on this upcoming leg
Due to personal issues, Richie Sambora will not be performing on this upcoming leg. All shows will go on as scheduled.
Previously, when Sambora was in rehab, Phil X stepped in for a series of shows. No official word has been made on who will replace Sambora on upcoming shows.
UPDATE (4/4/13): Bon Jovi's website has confirmed that Phil X will be stepping in for Sambora.
