Carl Martin has unveiled the CM Acoustic, a 300-watt full-range amplifier developed for acoustic performers who need studio-quality clarity at stage volume. Developed and assembled in Denmark, it is designed to reproduce the natural character of acoustic instruments and vocals rather than impose the coloration of a traditional combo amplifier.
At the core of the CM Acoustic are two custom-designed 6.5-inch Carl Martin SU65147CM full-range drivers. The system preserves pick attack, harmonic separation and low-end definition as volume rises, delivering the controlled projection and clean headroom of a compact professional PA while retaining the immediacy and straightforward operation of a dedicated instrument amplifier.
Two independent channels make the CM Acoustic a self-contained performance solution for singer-songwriters and acoustic duos. The instrument channel provides gain, three-band EQ with a sweepable midrange from 220 Hz to 5.1 kHz, limiter, EQ bypass, reverb and volume. A balanced XLR microphone input with +48V phantom power handles vocals, while an AUX input, balanced XLR output, effects loop, reverb-mute footswitch connection and 35 mm pole mount support professional stage, studio and small-venue setups.
