Wampler Pedals Releases Paisley Drive

Brad wanted a pedal that would go from totally clean to saturated amp-like breakup without sacrificing the tonality of his base tone

Martinsville, IN (November 1, 2010) -- Wampler Pedals’ latest creation is a pedal designed for country artist Brad Paisley. According to Brian Wampler of Wampler Pedals, Brad wanted a pedal that would go from totally clean to saturated amp-like breakup without sacrificing the tonality of his base tone, yet something that when he stepped on it gave his notes even more girth without sounding like an ordinary pedal. The Paisley Drive is exactly the same as the pedal Wampler built for Paisley.

The pedal features Volume, Gain, and Tone Controls, as well as two toggle switches: one controls the midrange frequency content, while the other switch will add brightness and presence.

Other details about the Paisley Drive:
  • High grade film capacitors and resistors picked for their superior sound and response
  • Completely true bypass
  • Battery connection and 9v power jack (barrel plug like Boss)
  • 3 knobs - Volume, Gain, Tone
  • 2 switches - controlling presence (brightness) and midrange frequency contour
  •  2.5" x 4.5" in size
  • Can be very transparent or have a warm midrange bump with no loss of bottom end
  • Cleans up very well
  • Very dynamic
  • Ultra-bright LED for ease of use
  • Powder coated durable finish
  • 5 Year Warranty
  • Price is $219.97 though Wampler Pedals is offering it at $179.97 for the first week as an introductory offer
