"From 1964 until mid-1965, Shot Jackson was playing with Roy Acuff, but was badly injured (along with Acuff) in a serious car crash. After he recovered, Jackson started performing with his wife, Donna Darlene. Around the same time, he began to market a new guitarяa seven-string resonator called the Sho-Bro. This model particular was built by Shot in his garage in Madison, WI. After distancing himself from the recording/music business, Shot continued to develop new guitar ideas and eventually sold rights to his company in 1980 to Baldwin-Gretsch. "
