Chapman Guitars has launched its new electric guitar models spanning three series. The new range includes the Scout Traditional, Scout Legacy, and Law Maker Legacy with player-focused features, and a company-wide quality control initiative designed to improve consistency across all instruments.
Every guitar is now individually inspected and professionally set up by a luthier at Chapman HQ prior to shipping, giving players confidence that each instrument has been thoroughly checked and approved by experienced hands.
Built for the modern gigging musician, the lineup also features Chapman-designed pickups across the range, delivering versatile tones tailored for real-world performance.

- Both Legacy and Scout models are 25.5” scale length, 22 jumbo stainless steel frets, have orange drop capacitors and treble bleeds, Chapman locking tuners
- The Law Maker Legacy HH (single cut T-Style) features a 3 way switch with push pull coil split tone knob
- The Scout Legacy HH (double cut S-Style) features a 5 way switch
- The Scout Traditional HSS (double cur S-Style) features a 5 way switch and a push pull coil split tone knob
- The Legacy models have a Chapman Hipshot style modern bridge, while the Traditional has the Wilkinson WVS130 tremolo (with locking saddles)
- Pickups on the HH models (legacy) feature the Chapman Redline Special in the Bridge (14.5k Ohm, Ceramic) and the Chapman GT in the neck (9.75k, Alnico V)
- The HSS (Traditional) has the same Chapman Redline Special in the bridge, but has the Chapman Straight-Six in the Middle and Neck (7.2k, Alnico V)
- Tonewoods include: Legacy models feature an all rosewood neck and alder body. Traditional features a roasted maple neck, rosewood F/B, and a mahogany body, and a matching headstock
- Law Maker Legacy available in four colors: Azure Burst, Blackberry Storm, Shadow Burst, or Tiger Eye Burst
- Scout Legacy available in Blood Moon, Electric Sky, Shadow Burst or Tiger Eye Burst
- Scout Traditional available in Hot Cherry, Wildwood, Shadow Burst or Tiger Eye Burst
